The Wisconsin Summit for Data-Informed Leadership is scheduled for March 9-10, 2017 at the KI Center in Green Bay. Understanding data and embedding effective data practices within a cycle of inquiry is a prerequisite for sustained school and system improvement. The 2017 Summit, organized by AWSA and WASDA, will allow participants to focus on data and assessment practices, offer practical strategies for strengthening data review processes and collaboration opportunities, and provide time for action planning. This summit replaces the former RTI Summit as our school communities have moved beyond structures to data driven dialogue and instruction. A resource showcase will be available for participants to learn more about quality data monitoring products and how districts in Wisconsin are using them effectively. Come alone or bring a team and find additional ways to grow teaching and learning in your school and district! This year’s keynote presenters include Heidi Taylor-Eliopoulis, Superintendent of Chippewa Falls School District and Doug Reeves, author, researcher and partner at Creative Leadership Solutions and over 30 concurrent sessions representing Wisconsin schools, districts and the Department of Public Instruction.
