Four years ago WASDA was pleased to announce the creation of a new association designed specifically for the assistants to the superintendent.  This new association was named WASSA–Wisconsin Association of School Superintendent Assistants.  The purpose of this organization is to share information and resources to support and enhance the role of the superintendent’s assistant personally and professionally.  Complete information about WASSA and how your assistant can become a member can be found by clicking any of the WASSA links at left.  Last year, over 150 superintendent assistants from throughout Wisconsin joined WASSA.

The registration fee for this workshop will be $95 per WASSA member and $149 for non-members (Non-members will automatically become members for the remainder of the 2007-08 fiscal year).

Room reservations are to be made directly with the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 1-877-227-6963.  The room rate is $92 single/double.  Please state that you are part of the WASDA group.  Our room block will be held until March 11.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at 4402 East Washington Avenue in Madison.  A reminder that all members of WASSA are listed on the WASDA website at www.wasda.org.  All members are listed by last name, by school district and by CESA.  You may want to see who else from your area is a member and inquire if they might be interested in traveling to Madison with you.
